How to Set Up Q&A Admin Assignments (Q&A Version 1)

Assign Admins to Manage Specific Permission Groups Q&A

To assign administrators to answer new questions from specific permission groups, follow the steps below: 

1. Navigate to the Q&A page
2. Select "Assignments"
3. Select the "Group" dropdown menu and choose a custom non-admin group
4. Select the "Admin" dropdown and choose the admin that you would like to be notified when a member from the custom group asks a question*
5. Select "Assign"

*Admins can be assigned to more than one group. Groups can have more than one admin assigned.

 Notification Behavior 

• If a group is not assigned to an admin, all admins in the workspace will receive an email notification that a question has been posted.
• If a group is assigned to an admin, only the assigned admin will receive an email notification that a question has been posted.
• If a group is assigned to more than one admin, all assigned admins will receive an email notification that a question has been posted.

If an admin is not assigned to a specific group, but would like to opt into receiving email notifications regarding a specific question, they can do so by following the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Q&A page
2. Select the question to which you would like to receive notifications
3. Mark the box titled "Notify me of replies"
