Assign Admins to Manage Specific Permission Groups Q&A
To assign administrators to answer new questions from specific permission groups, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the Q&A page
- Select "Assignments"
- Select the "Group" dropdown menu and choose a custom non-admin group
- Select the "Admin" dropdown and choose the admin which you would like to be notified when a member from the custom group asks a question*
- Select "Assign"
*Admins can be assigned to more than one group. Groups can have more than one admin assigned.
Notification Behavior
- If a group is not assigned to an admin, all admins in the workspace will receive an email notification that a question has been posted.
- If a group is assigned to an admin, only the assigned admin will receive an email notification that a question has been posted.
- If a group is assigned to more than one admin, all assigned admins will receive an email notification that a question has been posted.
If an admin is not assigned to a specific group, but would like to opt into receiving email notifications regarding a specific question, they can do so by following the steps below:
- Navigate to the Q&A page
- Select the question to which you would like to receive notifications
- Mark the box titled "Notify me of replies"
